Artyom Lebedev, born in Uzbekistan, comes from a distinguished family of professional basketball coaches. With his father spending forty years as the head coach of the Uzbekistan Women’s National Team, Artyom grew up with a profound love for, deep understanding of, and great dedication to basketball. Throughout his career, he has immersed himself in basketball culture by playing nationally both as a child and adult, coaching, and acting as an FIBA referee, developing an extensive knowledge from several perspectives.
Artyom quickly emerged as a standout talent: At 15, he was selected for the Uzbekistan National Youth Team, where he excelled, and by 16, he earned the national title of Master of Sports. Soon after, he was recruited to the Uzbekistan Men’s National Team, where he represented his country in several international competitions across Asia, including India, China, Vietnam, and Singapore.
At 21, Artyom transitioned into coaching men’s teams, where he demonstrated strong leadership, discipline, and a passion for the development and success of athletes. By 24, he was the head coach for the Uzbekistan Junior National Team, where he led them to the Asian Championship, earning the team top placements, and establishing Artyom as one of the most promising young coaches in Central Asia.
In 2021, Artyom further expanded his professional expertise to include officiating, where he earned the distinction of FIBA International Referee.
He remains an active international referee, and is highly respected for his fairness, technical expertise, and extensive understanding of the game.
With in-depth experience as a player, coach, and referee, Artyom brings a uniquely complete perspective to athlete development, with his mission being to guide young athletes to realizing their full potential in basketball, discipline, and life.
